As part of ongoing work ensuring that all South Australian children and young people have a voice, the Commissioner released a series of booklets highlighting key issues as raised by children through the Commissioner’s Student Voice Postcards initiative.
This is a collection of drawings and written responses that relate to cost of living pressures and experiences of poverty in the lives of children aged 8-12. Everything within the booklet is unedited and represents a small sample of the over 50,000 postcards the Commissioner has received since the initiative’s inception in 2019.
